Iam selling cookies in honor of my dear husband, Dave, who has been courageously battling stage 4 bladder cancer for over 11 years and in memory of my beloved father who fought kidney, prostate, and colon cancer for eight years before dying in 2011. Thankfully, both were lucky to have many family and friends to help out with meals after surgeries, chemo, etc. Not everyone is as fortunate. We know first hand how much help and hope a home-cooked healthy meal delivered by a compassionate individual or group can bring. It feeds not only the body, but the heart and soul.

Each pack of cookies ordered or donation made helps Project Angel Heart prepare and deliver four nutritious, medically tailored meals to neighbors living with cancer, kidney failure, HIV/AIDS, lung disease, recovering from Covid, MS, and other life-threatening illnesses. Each week, more than 1,300 neighbors receive meals that are not only tasty, but designed to meet their nutritional needs... a true life-saver for those who need nourishment, but are too ill to shop or prepare meals for themselves.
