In yet another grievous turn of the pandemic, Project Angel Heart is unable to find a supplier for pies to sell this Thanksgiving season. But instead, you can order yourself a box of three beautifully decorated, autumn-themed sugar cookies! 

If cookies aren't quite as appealing to you as pie, then I encourage you to donate rather than purchase this year. As you might imagine, Project Angel Heart's ability to continue preparing and delivering nutritious, medically-tailored meals to our neighbors living with cancer, kidney failure, HIV/AIDS, lung disease, MS, and other life-threatening illnesses has been deeply affected by the pandemic. In order to meet its clients needs in 2021, Project Angel Heart needs to raise $2 million by December 31, 2020.

I know how important it is for those struggling with a life-threatening illness (and who are especially vulnerable to COVID-19) to obtain nourishing meals which help maintain their strength.
