What Do Ambassadors Do?

Ambassadors volunteer their time to represent at Project Angel Heart at one of 250+ participating restaurants on April 27, 2017. They invite friends and family to dine at their assigned restaurant, and during the evening they greet guests, tell them about Project Angel Heart, and give them a chance to enter a prize drawing and/or make a personal gift.

  • Register with a friend or volunteer on your own...either way, you'll have a fun evening!
  • Attend a training session at Project Angel Heart in early April.
  • Invite your friends and family to dine at your assigned restaurant.
  • Greet and thank diners. Remind them that 25 percent of their bill will help Project Angel Heart provide medically tailored meals for the portion of Project Angel Heart clients living with HIV/AIDS.
  • Offer guests the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $2,500 King Soopers gift card and/or make a personal gift to support the life-saving work of Project Angel Heart.
  • Return materials to Project Angel Heart representatives at the end of the night.

Fundraising

As a volunteer ambassador, your fundraising efforts--both in the restaurant and online before and after the event (optional)--are critical in our efforts to provide life-saving nutrition for more than 2,900 clients in Colorado.
